This is reflected through our comprehensive Staff Assistance Program, which has contributed more than R4 million over the past 5 years. Our programme encompasses various support measures designed to enhance the lives of our staff and their families.
A significant portion of our assistance is dedicated to bursary and school assistance for the children of single mothers and low-income earners. Over five years, we have provided R130 000 for disabled children and R1.2 million in bursaries for our staff’s children. These funds cover school fees, school clothes, transportation costs, and study materials, ensuring that education is accessible and affordable for our employees’ families.
In addition to educational support, we contribute R1.7 million annually towards medical aid for families, ensuring that our employees and their loved ones have access to essential healthcare services. We also recognise the importance of support during difficult times, providing more than R627 000 over five years for funeral allowances and related functions for direct family
members.
WE ENSURE THE DAILY WELL-BEING OF OUR EMPLOYEES BY CONTRIBUTING R282 000 ANNUALLY TOWARDS FOOD ALLOWANCES, HELPING TO MEET THE DAILY NUTRITIONAL NEEDS OF OUR WORKFORCE.
We also assist all professionally qualified staff to meet their continuous professional development (CPD) requirements to maintain their professional obligations and registration with various professional organisations or bodies.
